So what are these stages.
Stage 1: You have to make the decision, to choose to quit. How do you know you are at this stage? It is reflected in the words you use. ¨I have to quit smoking¨ ¨my doctor told me, I need to quit smoking¨. These are not real decisions. Anything in your life comes from a committed decision. You have to have a desire and belief that there exists a world where you are a non smoker.
Stage 2: your mindset. Most people will keep the mindset of a smoker. You tell yourself things, like, smoking makes me feel good and relaxed. The mindset of a non smoker, does not want or crave cigarettes. The mindset of a smoker feels scared, thinks you are about to lose something important.
Stage 3: all the habits keep you a smoker. Change your smoking pattern. Your smoking behaviour, lighting the cigarette is just the iceberg. You have linked all your activities to smoking, drinking a coffee, light a cigarette. After a meal, light a cigarette. You have 100 triggers that you had created that keeps you in the loop of smoking. The only way to get away from your triggers is to cut the connexion between your triggers and the cigarette. Break the pattern and detach yourself from your triggers.
You will feel excitement at this stage.
Stage 4: Condition to smoke-free live. Your true nature is smoke-free. All replaced smoking with a new healthy habit. You need to go through all stages and use the freed up time with something healthy and fun, something that is rewarding to you immediately.

1. you decided to try your first cigarette and buy your first package.
2. You started changing your mindset around smoking, thinking you could quit when you wanted, you started to make associations between your mind and physique and things you linked to smoking
3. You created new patterns, where first you did not need a cigarette after a meal, now it is a 100% one-on-one connection.
4. You conditioned your life to be designed around smoking.
