So what are these stages. 


Stage 1: You have to make the decision, to choose to quit. How do you know you are at this stage? It is reflected in the words you use. ¨I have to quit smoking¨ ¨my doctor told me, I need to quit smoking¨. These are not real decisions. Anything in your life comes from a committed decision.  You have to have a desire and belief that there exists a world where you are a non smoker. 


Stage 2: your mindset. Most people will keep the mindset of a smoker. You tell yourself things, like, smoking makes me feel good and relaxed.   The mindset of a non smoker, does not want or crave cigarettes. The mindset of a smoker feels scared, thinks you are about to lose something important. 


Stage 3: all the habits keep you a smoker. Change your smoking pattern. Your smoking behaviour, lighting the cigarette is just the iceberg. You have linked all your activities to smoking, drinking a coffee, light a cigarette. After a meal, light a cigarette. You have 100 triggers that you had created that  keeps you in the loop of smoking. The only way to get away from your triggers is to cut the connexion between your triggers and the cigarette. Break the pattern and detach yourself from your triggers. 

You will feel excitement at this stage. 


Stage 4: Condition to smoke-free live. Your true nature is smoke-free. All replaced smoking with a new healthy habit. You need to go through all stages and use the freed up time with something healthy and fun, something that is rewarding to you immediately.

Hi, I am Jacqueline Moulen and below is my short story.


When I started working as a hypnotherapist, I was always amazed at the transformation I saw people go through before my eyes. 


While I was in awe of the transformation, I immediately realized my reach was too small.


This is one of the reasons to take my business online.

Why am I so passionate about helping people to give up smoking? Because I lost loved ones to this addictive habit and because I have the tools to help people give up smoking for good.

I took people into a hypnotic trance in Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, German, and English, and the response was the same: people connect deeply to their inner voice of the subconscious, and the transformations people have are nothing short of magical. 


When I participated in the initiation weekend in Spain in January 2016 to discover hypnotherapy, I honestly was just curious and did not directly think of being a hypnotherapist.


My teacher hypnotized me and cured my 10-year insomnia in 5 minutes. I could hardly believe it. Something that I had accepted as a part of me and would never go away and for which I consulted doctors, was cured in 5 minutes. I have slept carefree since!


I was hooked, I was fascinated deeply by all the possible transformations people could experience which I saw happening already in the course of my training alone. 


"Although my life wasn't always smooth sailing, I never lost hope. Even when I had to sleep on a beach or in a tent and rent out my apartment for money, I always believed there were better possibilities for me. Despite my challenges, I remained confident I could turn my life around. And with that unwavering belief, I did."

What to expect health wise when you give up smoking

If you're reading this, you're likely considering quitting smoking. Congratulations! This is a major step towards living a healthier life. Smoking not only damages your lungs and overall health, but it also takes a toll on your finances, social life, and self-esteem. Quitting smoking is a challenging journey, but the benefits are worth it.

What can you expect timeline wise when you quit smoking:


  • 20 minutes after quitting, your heart rate drops. Cigarettes raise your blood pressure and increase your heart rate. Your heart rate will begin to drop to normal levels within 20 minutes of your last cigarette.
  • 8 to 12 hours after quitting, your blood carbon monoxide level drops. Carbon monoxide is the same dangerous fume that comes from car exhaust. It causes your heart rate to increase and causes shortness of breath. Within 8 to 12 hours, the carbon monoxide level in your blood drops, and your blood oxygen increases.
  • 48 hours after quitting, your ability to smell and taste improves. The nerve endings damaged by smoking begin to regrow, improving your sense of smell and taste.
  • 2 weeks to 3 months after quitting, your risk of heart attack drops. Improved circulation, lower blood pressure and heart rate, and better oxygen levels and lung function all reduce your risk of a heart attack.
  • 1 to 9 months after quitting, you’ll feel less short of breath and cough less. Coughing, shortness of breath, and sinus congestion will decrease. You’ll feel more energetic overall.
  • 1 year after quitting, your risk of heart disease will be cut in half. Smoking significantly increases your risk of heart disease.
  • 5 years after quitting, your risk of stroke decreases. Depending on how much and how long you smoked and your overall health, your risk of stroke will be the same as someone who’s never smoked within 5 to 15 years of quitting.
  • 10 years after quitting, your risk of lung cancer drops to that of someone who’s never smoked. Your risk of dying from lung cancer will be that of a person who’s never smoked. Your risk of developing other cancers decreases significantly.
  • 15 years after quitting, your risk of heart disease is the same as someone who’s never smoked. After you quit, you’ll have lower cholesterol, thinner blood (which reduces your risk of blood clots), and lower blood pressure


  • Better finances: Smoking is expensive! By quitting, you can save hundreds, if not thousands, each year, the money you worked so hard for. Just do the simple math. How much do you spend on smoking each day? Multiply this figure by 7 days, and then multiply it by 52. Probably you are shocked. In the Netherlands, where I am from, the new price would be 10,40€, why? the government needs money. They expect to raise an additional 140.000.000€, do you want to keep being a sponsor of your government?

For most people, this amount of money sums up to a vacation or a new car, This extra money can be put towards other things you enjoy, like a new hobby or a vacation. Improved social life: Smoking can be isolating, as many people choose not to be around smokers. By quitting, you can expand your social circle and connect with others who share your interests. Improved self-esteem: Quitting smoking can give you a sense of accomplishment and pride. You'll feel empowered knowing that you've taken control of your health and made a positive change in your life.
