Meet Steffanie
Just like Steffanie, who had been a heavy smoker for more than 20 years, she came to me after she tried all the other options available and was desperate to give up smoking.
She felt it stole her happiness, and her peace of mind and controlled her life and her every day to such a degree that she felt trapped and helpless.
She started to hate the smell and felt lonely too as she did not want to burden her family with her smoking habit, so she separated herself from them, going outside, needing to excuse herself again, as she lid another cigarette.
When you look at Stefanie, who had been such an accomplished woman in many other aspects of her life and a happy outgoing vibrant person, you never imagined she struggled so much with her smoking addiction.
Stefanie was one of many people I have helped give up smoking and how grateful I am for each single person that quit, it felt like I was not doing enough and reaching enough people.
By going through the steps and process with my clients, I could entangle all the aspects that keep you hooked to smoking.
The smoking addiction felt like a trap to everyone I worked with and left my clients feeling powerless, anxious and and as if there was something wrong with them, why they could not quit smoking.
